Health is the first priority in our Better Bodies Gym. Whatever your goal is, gaining muscles and strenght, loosing weight, recovering from surgery, your health is the most important thing.
That is why we work closely together with a male Thai doctor from Bangkok Hospital and a female Thai doctor from Pattaya City Hospital. On our request the doctor will visit our gym and can do your health check up and blood test. The results can be used to adjust and optimize your exercise, in order to improve your body and health.

Gym owner Juliette Bergmann and her husband Jim Lensveld have a lifelong experience with health programs and recovery schedules for athletes and non-athletes. In their professional body building career, health has always been the highest priority. That is why they contacted the hospital specialists to combine knowledge and know-how for the benefit of the gym customers.
So please use this option to your benefit and ask the staff to plan for a health check-up and/or a blood test, in order to safely maximize your work out efficiency. That way you know that you are doing ‘the right thing’ for your body and health.

Sarcopenia & Old Age Shortcomings
Sarcopenia is the loss in muscle strenght, usually happening later in life. People gradually loose the ability to stand up straight, walk up and down the stairs, carry groceries, walk longer distances, get in and out of car seats or move heavy items. The loss in power occurs in almost the entire body, from arms to legs, from shoulders to back.

After worldwide investigations and research it is proven that medium intensity weights work out in combination with the right (nutricious) food can beat and even reverse the bad consequences of sarcopenia. To fight against this ‘old-age-syndrom’ Better Bodies Gym did extensive schooling of some of their staff who can help and assist you. Work out schedule
We can make recommendations for your personal work out training program. This program will gradually change, according to your progress and will make you gain back the strenght in your muscles again. The result is overwhelmingly positive to not only your physical health, but also your mental health; giving you more stability and balance, independence and self-assurance.
All in all this sarcopenia program is unique in the world, utterly useful for older people and guarantees a much better health and well being. With a little bit of dedication (2 work out sessions per week of 1,5 hour with medium intensity) and following the guidelines for eating the proper food and ingredients, you can feel younger again in body and mind.
